Why eat tomatoes?
- The lycopene in tomatoes is said to make skin less sensitive to UV damage.
- You can "sneak" them into any recipe. Consider grilled cheeses, omelettes, vinaigrettes, cocktails (Blood Mary), sauces, and soups, to name a few.
- Tomatoes are delicate, but flavorful. Store them at room temperature (not the refrigerator) for best results.
